Today’s reports
Choose the four reports from your PMS and POS, or drop them on this page. They are read inside this browser window and are never uploaded. Only totals and journal lines are saved when you click Save draft.
Starting ledger balances
These are yesterday’s ending balances. They are read from the trial balance itself and can be changed. Month-to-date figures come from the days already pushed for this month.
Codes to always decide by hand
Codes that can mean different things, such as Miscellaneous, are listed for a decision every time, one posting at a time. Separate codes with commas. Codes the setup does not recognize are always listed.
Saved days
Drafts can be changed by saving again. An ADOF or DOF pushes a draft to lock it. A day cannot be pushed by the person who last saved it, unless that person is a DOF.
| Date | Status | Version | Last saved | Pushed |

Month locks
A locked month cannot have days saved, pushed, or reopened. Unlocking needs a reason, which is kept in the audit log.

People
People must already have an account, created by Hotel Excel Solutions. You can give a role up to your own level. Only a DOF can add or change a DOF, and nobody can change their own access.

Audit log
Every save, push, reopen, lock, settings change, and change of access. Entries cannot be edited or deleted.

Property setup
The setup holds the hotel’s journal layout, accounts, and rules. Saving creates a new version. Earlier versions are kept. Use the boxes below to change the chart of accounts and the statistics accounts, then save.
Statistics chart of accounts
Stat lines work like the chart of accounts. Each line is an account plus the report figure that feeds it, such as PHYSICAL_ROOMS, ARRIVAL_ROOMS, or a market segment code. Several lines can share one account. Tivoli keeps all stats in department 100, so the journal number is 100 followed by the 6-digit account, for example 100990130. Other hotels may book room statistics in the rooms department and use a separate stat department for the rest. Upload a stats chart in the trial balance layout, or export this one, edit it in Excel, and upload it again. A summary of changes is shown before anything is applied.
Chart of accounts
The DOF loads the hotel’s full chart of accounts, in the same layout as the standard trial balance file (operating unit, department, account, description) or as a plain account list, as Excel or CSV. The same account can appear under several departments, and each combination is its own line. and marks the lines that can be used. You can change the Active boxes here, or export to Excel, change the Active column, and upload the file again. A summary of changes is shown before anything is applied. Tivoli’s journals write each account as one number: a 3-digit department followed by a 6-digit account, such as 290420213 for Banquet Alcohol, so that is the number shown and used here. Active lines appear in every “Goes to” menu, so a posting such as a labor credit for a task force can go to an account that is not normally part of the income journal. Turn a line off to remove it. In this test build the list is not saved.
